General Aligner Instructions

DO: Remove the aligners by pulling the trays  from the molars (rear) first, then carefully  proceeding towards the front. 

DO NOT: Do not remove the aligners by digging  your fingernails in the front part of the trays. 

DO: Insert the aligners and seat them with finger  pressure, ensuring both the front and the back are  fully seated 

DO NOT: Do not seat the aligners by biting them  into place 

DO: Wear the aligners as instructed (generally 20  hours per day, unless instructed otherwise).    Change to the next aligners every 2 weeks (*unless instructed otherwise by the doctor)

DO NOT: Do not wear the aligners while eating,  or drinking anything that has color (coffee/tea) or  sugar (juice, soda, etc). Even diet soda will cause  damage, as it is acidic and will weaken enamel
